Bids and Tenders Coordinator

Acorn Recruitment is seeking a Bids and Tenders Coordinator. My client; based in North Bristol, has been established for over 30 years and is offering an exciting opportunity to work at the company as it grows and develops its' international trade. The salary for this position is negotiable dependent on skills and abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

Taking responsibility for the search of relevant tender portals
Evaluating opportunities in order to provide Stakeholders with all information required to make an informed decision as to whether to proceed.
Ensuring that all relevant parties are briefed and engaged in the process and understanding what is required and in what time frame.
Taking ownership of the entire bid/export process from beginning to end.
Overseeing the maintenance of the central bids library of information which can be accessed by others areas of the business, proactively adding to it after each pitch to improve the knowledge base.
Ensuring all proposal and tender opportunities are tracked using the company's selected CRM system.
Taking responsibility for obtaining client feedback for bids where no designated sales resource has been assigned.
Proactively assessing outcomes of completed bids, feeding back to all relevant stakeholders whilst turning feedback into action plans to continually improve performance.
Reviewing on an on-going basis, bid/tender templates, structures and content to ensure consistency and best practice.
Maintaining customer service excellence with both internal and external customers.
Setting up and maintaining effective export order processes.
Supporting the business in the fulfillment of export orders.
Providing input into the development of export sales development
To be considered for this position you will be a self-starter working in a similar position (export experience would also be beneficial); and looking to take the next step towards ownership of further responsibility.
