Job Title: Social Worker - Family Help Service
Location: South East London
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £51,000 per annum
Welcome Bonus: £5,000
Relocation Package: Up to £8,000
Annual Leave: 40 days (including bank holidays)
Working Pattern: Full-time, hybrid working available
Overview:
We're excited to offer a permanent opportunity for experienced Social Workers to join an ambitious and forward-thinking Family Help Service in South East London.
This service is designed to reduce pressure on frontline teams and prioritise meaningful, preventative support for families. If you're looking for stability, manageable caseloads, and a positive working culture - this is for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
*
Managing a caseload of approx. 17 children - mostly low-level CIN
*
Handling no more than 1-2 CP cases, allowing you to focus on early intervention
*
Working in small supportive teams (pods) of 5 social workers with direct access to management
*
Using the Family Safeguarding Model, promoting relationship-based, trauma-informed practice
*
Collaborating daily with co-located professionals: CAMHS, substance misuse, domestic abuse & adult mental health practitioners
*
Preparing child-focused assessments, contributing to multi-agency meetings, and ensuring timely interventions

Who We're Looking For:
*
Social Work England registered
*
Qualified Social Worker (BA/MA Social Work, DipSW or equivalent)
*
2+ years' post-qualifying experience in children's social care
*
Experience working with CIN and CP cases
*
Familiarity with strength-based and trauma-informed practice models
*
A team player who thrives in a multi-agency environment
