A leading independent planning consultancy in Central London is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join its growing team. With a reputation for delivering some of the most ambitious and high-profile projects across London and the South East, this firm offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the built environment.

About the Role

You'll join a dynamic, commercially focused consultancy renowned for its involvement in large-scale, mixed-use developments. The work spans a wide range of sectors and presents the opportunity to advise on projects at all stages-from initial feasibility to securing consent. As a Senior Planner, you will take ownership of project workstreams, contribute to strategic advice, and maintain strong relationships with high-calibre clients and stakeholders.

About You

You are an ambitious and motivated professional with a passion for planning and development. You have a solid track record in a planning consultancy or similar environment and thrive when working on complex, fast-moving projects. You are commercially aware, analytically sharp, and comfortable engaging with clients and public-sector partners. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.

What You'll Need

* RTPI-accredited degree (or equivalent experience)

* MRTPI status (or working towards)

* Solid experience in UK town planning (private or public sector)

* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* A proactive, team-oriented attitude
