Senior to Principal Town Planner

Location: Winchester, UK

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established town planning consultancy in their search for a Senior to Principal Town Planner to join their expanding team in Winchester. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company renowned for leading prestigious, large-scale projects that have had a transformative impact on communities and places.

The successful candidate will work on a wide range of high-profile projects, helping shape the future of urban development. The office is centrally located in Winchester, offering the benefit of free onsite parking, and a strong focus on work-life balance with flexible working hours and location options.

What you'll be doing:

* Leading and managing planning projects from inception to completion

* Advising clients on planning strategies and managing planning applications

* Working closely with senior leadership on complex and high-profile projects

* Providing support with project delivery, site assessments, and stakeholder communication

* Contributing to the growth of the business through client engagement and project acquisition

What we're looking for:

* Experience in Town Planning, ideally with a background in both residential and commercial projects

* RTPI membership (or eligibility to achieve it)

* Strong understanding of planning regulations, policies, and development management

* Excellent communication and project management skills

* Ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
