My client, a large, highly-regarded Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join their accomplished team of expert engineers, based in the lively, diverse city of Manchester.
Essential Criteria:
* Extensive experience of working in a design delivery role
* Demonstrable knowledge of water and wastewater treatment plant design, pipeline design, and surge analysis
* Knowledge of UK design standards, as dictated by UK standards and practices
* Design and Build experience
* Chartership status, recognised by a registered body (such as the ICE, or similar)
* Familiar with the use of relevant software packages, including HADES, WANDA, and similar
It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Senior Hydraulic Engineer to possess the following:
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience of line managing and mentoring colleagues
- A willingness to proactively engage with a range of projects across the hydrology sector
In the exciting role of Senior Hydraulic Engineer, you will join a team of expert design engineers in the field. You will be encouraged to develop your repertoire of skills through Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The role will involve several responsibilities, including:
* Manage a high-performing team of design engineers, undertaking technical design work whilst adhering to the highest standards
* Oversee the preparation of briefs, work scopes, and bid proposals
* Manage all aspects of various projects, including time and budgets, to ensure successful delivery
* Liaise with a number of internal and external stakeholders and clients, to deliver high-quality design solutions
* Ensure your team's adherence to industry standards and quality assurance in design
