Senior Architectural Technician

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £35-40,000

A leading architectural studio is seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join its RIBA-chartered team in Cambridge. The practice is celebrated for its design-led approach and delivery of high-quality commercial, residential and mixed-use developments. Responsibilities for the role of Senior Architectural Technician:

* Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawings and specifications across all RIBA stages, particularly RIBA 4-6

* Work closely with architects and project leads to ensure design intent is delivered accurately and efficiently

* Liaise with consultants, clients, and contractors to resolve technical issues and support project delivery

* Assist in project and team coordination, including overseeing junior technicians and support staff

* Ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards

* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is highly beneficial

Experience Required:

* HNC/HND or a degree in Architectural Technology

* Significant UK-based experience in an architectural technician role

* Strong technical knowledge, with a proven ability to deliver complex projects

* Experience working across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use

* Excellent communication and coordination skills

* Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset

* CIAT membership or working towards it is advantageous
