Senior Acoustic Consultant - London - £45,000 to £60,000 + Benefits

A leading UK-based Acoustic and Environmental Consultancy is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join its dynamic team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to lead and deliver a wide range of building and environmental acoustics projects across the capital and the wider South East.

Essential Criteria:

*

A degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

*

5+ years' experience in acoustic consultancy.

*

Strong technical ability in either building acoustics, environmental noise, or both.

*

Proficiency with acoustic modelling tools (e.g., CadnaA, SoundPLAN, Odeon, or CATT).

*

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

*

Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Experience:

*

Chartered status (e.g., MIOA) or actively working towards it.

*

Familiarity with UK standards and regulations (e.g., BS4142, BS8233, ProPG, BB93).

*

Experience managing projects and liaising with architects, planners, and developers.

*

Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to internal development.

The Role:

As a Senior Consultant, you'll manage and deliver technically robust acoustic assessments for a variety of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, education, and infrastructure. You'll take ownership of client relationships and play a key role in supporting junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting acoustic assessments and noise surveys.

*

Preparing high-quality reports for planning and compliance.

*

Leading client meetings and project reviews.

*

Overseeing modelling and data analysis work.

*

Supporting business development and internal training.
