Teaching Assistant - Hull

Location: Hull & East Yorkshire

Start Date: Immediate

Are you passionate about helping young people thrive in the classroom? We're looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to work as Teaching Assistants in secondary schools across Hull and the surrounding areas. Ideal for those with experience in education, childcare, mentoring, tutoring, or youth work. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting teachers and students throughout the school day. From helping individuals understand lesson content to encouraging positive behaviour, you'll be a key part of a supportive learning environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Support students during lessons to boost learning and engagement

* Assist teachers with classroom preparation and activities

* Work with small groups or one-to-one, depending on student needs

* Encourage good behaviour and a positive attitude to learning

* Help manage classroom routines and maintain a safe learning space

Desirable (but not essential) Qualifications:

* Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning

* Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools
