We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to be employed immediately on a permanent basis for an established manufacturing company in Dover.
You will need your own transportation for this role due to the location of the office.
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to work in a small and friendly office environment and who has experience with managing a team that undertake purchase/sales ledger processes.
The key responsibilities include:
* Checking purchases orders against invoices.
* Posting ledger invoice to the in-house system.
* Checking purchase orders against good received notes.
* Posting and allocating cash to the ledger.
* Allocating invoices on to the system.
* Matching and reconciling invoices to payments made.
* Preparing payment runs.
* Undertaking credit card reconciliations.
* Liaising with suppliers and internal departments.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3-5+ years purchase ledger experience.
* To be proficient with Microsoft programmes (Excel).
* Your own form of transport.
* Great communication and able to work independently.
* Experience managing other Purchase Ledger Clerks is desirable.
