We're recruiting for a well-established food manufacturer in Dorset known for their high standards, collaborative team culture, and continued investment in people and process. As the business continues to grow, they're looking for a proactive and commercially aware Production Planner to take ownership of both short- and long-term planning.

As Production Planner, you'll benefit from:

As Production Planner, your responsibilities will include:
* Developing short-term and long-term production plans in line with sales forecasts and capacity
* Maintaining and updating production schedules to minimise delays and ensure on-time delivery
* Working closely with Sales, Purchasing and Operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting and planning
* Hosting regular planning meetings and liaising with customer planners to maintain strong relationships
* Supporting internal systems including planning tools and schedule maintenance
* Monitoring factory capacity, shortages and performance KPIs
As Production Planner, your experience will include:
* Proven experience in production planning, supply chain, or demand forecasting
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (experience with LV systems advantageous)
* Excellent time management and communication skills
* The ability to build strong relationships across teams and functions
* Experience in food manufacturing (advantageous but not essential)
