KS2 Primary Teacher - Flitwick - September 2025
Duration: Long Term Cover / Permanent
Location: Flitwick
Salary: MPS - UPS (Competitive salary, depending on experience)
Job Type: 4 - 5 Days per week

I am seeking a Year 5 class teacher, to go permanent from September granted you enjoy the role, and you fit in well at the school. Although teaching a year 5 class can be daunting and comes with responsibility with the students entering into their SATS year, you will be provided with a great support system and is a role that will allow any primary teacher to develop their skills.
This is a great position to help develop the learning of young students and prepare them for their SATS year and then secondary school. If you are passionate about teaching and would like to work in a friendly, kind, caring and supportive environment with welcoming colleagues then this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities/requirements:
- Teach the national curriculum to an eager Year 5 class
- Must have a QTS and DBS (or willing to apply for one)
- This role is suitable for ECTs
- Make adaptations and present planned lessons
- Form great relationships with the students, parents and colleagues
- Commit to 8:30 - 3:30 hours, 4-5 days per week
- Attend teacher meetings and parents evenings
