Locum GP Pharmacy Technician - Manchester - Up to £ 23 per hour!
Hunter AHP have an exciting opportunity for an experienced GP Pharmacy Technician to join a supportive GP surgery team in Manchester.
We're looking for a pharmacy technician with previous experience in GP settings to provide support to the clinical team. Familiarity with systems such as EMIS, DOCMAN, or SystmOne is highly desirable.

Role: Locum GP Pharmacy Technician
Location: Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: 3, 4 or 5 days per week - flexible
Hours: 9: 00am to 5: 00pm ( core hours)
Hourly Rate: £ 16 - £ 23 per hour ( paid via umbrella)
Requirements:
Experience working in GP surgeries
Ideally familiar with EMIS, DOCMAN or SystmOne
Registered DBS required
Main Duties Will Include:
Supporting prescription management, including reauthorisations and repeat requests
Liaising with patients and community pharmacies regarding medication queries
Supporting audits and medication reviews under supervision of the clinical pharmacist
Working closely with the GPs and wider clinical team to optimise medication safety and cost- efficiency
Helping implement best practices around repeat prescribing and medicines use
