Position: Panel Beater / MET Technician
Location: Leeds
Hours: Monday to Thursday days (early finish Friday)
Pay: £18.50ph
Performance bonus
Details of the Panel Beater / MET Technician Opportunity
My client is a well-established commercial vehicle repair business based in Leeds. Due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled Panel Beater / MET Technician.
Key duties of the Panel Beater / MET Technician
- Carrying out necessary mechanical and body work
- Dismantling vehicles
- Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
- Ordering replacement parts
- Re-assembling vehicles with new parts
- Repair and replace body components to damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition
- Assess the best way to conduct repairs and use specialist body repair equipment
- General day to day Panel Beater / MET Technician duties
To be successful in this Panel Beater / MET Technician role you will need to have:
- Previous experience in a similar role working on vehicles
- Own tools required
- ATA accredited but not essential
- Previous experience working as a Panel Beater / MET Technician
