Position: Panel Beater / MET Technician
Location: Boston
Hours: Monday to Friday days
Pay: £35,000 - £45,000
Performance bonus
Details of the Panel Beater / MET Technician Opportunity
My client is a well-established commercial vehicle repair business with multiple sites who are continuing to grow and develop the business to meet the requirements and demands of their customers. Due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled Panel Beater / MET Technician.
Key duties of the Panel Beater / MET Technician
- Carrying out necessary mechanical and body work
- Dismantling vehicles
- Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
- Ordering replacement parts
- Re-assembling vehicles with new parts
- Repair and replace body components to damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition and to BSI PAS 10125 and manufacturer's standards
- Assess the best way to conduct repairs and use specialist body repair equipment
- General day to day Panel Beater / MET Technician duties
To be successful in this Panel Beater / MET Technician role you will need to have:
- Previous experience in a similar role working on vehicles
- Own tools required
- ATA accredited but not essential
- Previous experience working as a Panel Beater / MET Technician
