We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Operations Test Engineer for our Manufacturing and Engineering company based in Milton Keynes. You will assist with the design and implementation of the test processes of the components in the manufacturing process.
The role will require you to carry bout the following tasks;
* Use of Vector & CanAnalyzer to communicate with battery pack & associated assembles
* Creating dashboards for the Operations team to easily interpret & read battery communication data
* Create/develop in line and end of line battery verification process & procedures
* Create/develop and verify test scripts for module/battery pack cycling using NHR's & AV900/lynx
* Create/Develop leak test process/procedures for in line & end of line quality checks using Sciemetric/Furnace controls/Infacon
* Software flashing of battery BMS and associated assemblies
* Create a list of battery fault codes/failure modes through experimental work during the prototype phase
* Support battery teardown diagnosis post prototype testing
* Work cross functionally to define pass/fail criteria for in-line & end of line testing
* collaborate with the production/manufacturing site team to hand over test procedures/specs from the prototype location including best practice & lessons learned
* Develop Operations technician team in core test competencies and use of test equipment.
* Define hardware requirements for battery programs (including harnesses and test equipment)
You will be required to have a college, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience.
Thee hours of work are 8.00am - 4.00pm, you will be required to work on-site and this will initially be for 12 months.
