Maths Teacher - Secondary School

About the Role:
Academics Crawley is proud to be working with a well-established secondary school in the Crawley area to recruit a skilled and motivated Maths Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2025.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive mathematics department that is committed to delivering high standards of teaching and fostering a love of learning in all students. This role is suitable for both experienced practitioners and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin their teaching journey in a well-supported environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
*
Use a range of strategies to support student progress and achievement
*
Maintain a well-ordered, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment
Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
*
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make maths accessible and enjoyable
Desirable (but not essential):
*
Experience teaching A-Level Maths or Further Maths
*
Familiarity with data-led teaching approaches and intervention strategies
