Academics is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our supply team working across secondary schools in Bradford.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience, support students with additional needs, and be part of a friendly and supportive school environment.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to students, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

*

Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour

*

Helping pupils with SEN or additional needs access the curriculum

*

Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning

*

Building strong, supportive relationships with students

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people (school-based or other settings)

A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for supporting students with a range of learning needs

A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
