KS3 English Teacher - Sheffield - Immediate Start to July - Potential Extension in September
Are you an inspiring KS3 English Teacher looking to make an impact in a small independent school in Sheffield? This exciting opportunity is available for an immediate start until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue in September.
Position: KS3 English Teacher Location: Sheffield Contract: Temporary, potential for extension in September Pay: £150 - £200 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
What You'll Be Doing as a KS3 English Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 3.
* Create a positive learning environment to support students' academic and personal development.
* Implement school policies and contribute to curriculum planning - experience in overseeing the curriculum is beneficial but not essential.
* Track and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
* Collaborate with school staff to maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom setting.
* Participate in ongoing education and training to further your expertise and classroom impact.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified KS3 English Teacher with QTS or equivalent.
* Proven experience in teaching English to KS3 students.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Passionate about promoting literacy and fostering a love of learning.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply - we can assist with this.
