Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Network Engineer to join a vibrant local IT support company and work in a 1st Line Support role with clients across Kent. The Company provides a comprehensive package of managed IT services: maintenance, hosted servers, installations, and integrated telecoms, to a wide range of clients.

This is a Network and First Line Support Engineer role and would be suitable for a support engineer, well versed with Microsoft workstation Operating systems, Office products, network cabling, printers, routers and general first line IT support.

The role involves visits to client sites as well as covering the Support Desk, where good first line remote support is essential. You will also be involved in installing and configuring software, diagnosing and solving hardware/ software faults, planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades, repairing equipment and recording problems. Training will be provided in procedures and company routines.

You will need to be considerate of clients' needs, polite and professional at all times with the ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users. The scope of the role may be expanded according to your experience and qualifications.

Applicants should be able to drive and preferably hold a clean driving licence. Microsoft qualifications would be useful but are not essential. However, the successful candidate will be expected to study for industry qualifications and therefore must be motivated to learn. The work environment is friendly whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism.

This role offers a starting salary depending on qualifications and experience and the use of a branded company vehicle for business miles.
