HR Manager - Corby

Salary: up to £45,000 per annum

Location: Corby

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm (flexibility on exact hours), hybrid so can work from home 1-2 days per week

The Company:

We are delighted to be representing this dependable, family-run food manufacturing business, seeking an HR Manager to join their thriving team based local to Corby. The role will involve managing the HR function for the site, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, Employee Relations, disciplinaries, etc.

Accountabilities of the HR Manager include:

*Provide HR advice and support to management and employees.

*Develop, review and evaluate HR policies maintaining awareness of current employment legislation, ensuring all procedures are in line with union agreements.

*-Continual process review and improvement of the HR function and its processes.

*Employee Relations - Participate in staff disciplinary/grievance meetings, providing guidance and ensuring a consistent approach across all management.

*Monitor lateness and absence, investigate trends and produce statistics liaising with the Occupational Health Nurse.

*Assist management with employee relations and undertake negotiation with staff representatives.

*Recruitment - Coordinate and assist in the recruitment process with management and the Group Recruitment Manager, creating job descriptions as and when required.

*Make sure management carry out probationary reviews in line with agreed policy and provide management with current evaluations.

*Administration/Records Management/Staff Benefits

*Formulation and typing of all correspondence, reports, minutes, emails as necessary, working to deadlines as appropriate.

*Co-ordinate, Induction programmes, retirements, birthday lunches accordingly.

To be considered for the position:

*You will be an experienced HR Manager, ideally with a background in the food manufacturing, general manufacturing or retail sectors

*You will have generalist experience including key areas of HR such as - ER, employee development and retention, payroll, L&D, etc.

*You ideally be CIPD qualified or similar

*You will live a commutable distance from Corby as this is where the role is based
