Location: Stockport
Pay: £49,753
Shift: 4 on 4 off Nights 7pm-7am
Contract: Full time Permanent role (42 hrs per week)

HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity
Join our team as an HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter and play a vital role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our own fleet of vehicles. Your skills in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles according to our scheduled procedures will be key to our success
HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter duties
- Perform repairs to meet or exceed VOSA standards.
- Adhere to established safety, environmental, and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with the VMU Shift Coordinator, FLM, and Logistics team to ensure vehicle availability aligns with delivery schedules.
- Utilise available resources effectively to complete tasks.
- Maintain vehicles and other fleet assets in accordance with Company and VOSA standards.
HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter qualifications/experience required
- industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds) or be time served on heavies
- Previous experience gained working on HGV’s as a HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
- Able to work a 4 on 4 off night shift
