My client, a diverse, experienced Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Graduate Civil Engineer with a focus on Flood Risk and Drainage to join their growing team of engineering and design experts, in the Northern City of Leeds, the Unofficial Capital of Yorkshire.

Essential Criteria:

* A Degree in Civil Engineering

* Excellent knowledge of flood risk and drainage strategies, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)

* Working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S106, etc.)

* Knowledge of InfoWorks ICM, TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoDrainage, and other, similar software packages

* The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team

* A willingness to learn and develop technical skills through hands-on experience

It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Graduate Civil Engineer to have the following:

* Some experience within the industry, particularly with flood risk and drainage

* Working knowledge of a range of additional software packages, including AutoCAD, Civils 3D, etc.

* A demonstrable commitment to improving your knowledge and skills in the field

* Good time management skills

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be joining a specialist team of engineers, working on a number of high-profile projects across the region. As you progress through your career, you will take on a range of different responsibilities, including the following:

* Contributing to a number of projects, developing flood risk and drainage strategies

* Working with the wider team to ensure project goals are delivered to the highest standard and within given timeframes and budgetary restrictions

* Undertaking the relevant technical analysis using software packages

* Preparing and issuing accurate technical information regarding projects, including drawings, calculations, and models

* Liaising with a range of public and private stakeholders

* Contributing to and carrying out site meetings and inspections

* Developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relations

* Contributing to projects, adhering to industry standards, designated budgets, and agreed timelines
