Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000.
This geo-environmental consultancy, specialising in Phase I Desktop Studies and Site Investigations are seeking an Engineering Geologist/Geo-environmental Consultant to join their team on a variety of projects across Newcastle Upon Tyne. With a variety of contaminated land and site investigation projects to work on, and with a niche team size to allow for progression and varied work, this consultancy can offer excellent opportunity for your career progression.
The Geo-environmental Consultant selected will be offered:

This Geo-environmental Consultant position will involve approximately 50% site work to 50% office work. You'll be contributing to ground investigation projects, borehole logging, supervising drilling rigs, carrying out risk assessments and Phase I desk studies, writing reports and carrying out in-situ testing, while contributing to training of junior members and/or developing your own skills too.
The Geo-environmental Consultant selected will:
* Have a degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering (with a geotechnical focus) or a related subject.
* Have experience as a geotechnical or geo-environmental engineer or consultant.
* Have exceptional communication and time management skills.
* Hold a valid UK Driving licence.
* Be commutable to Newcastle upon Tyne.
* Willing to travel to sites and work in office.
