The Role: As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger and supporting the wider finance function. Key duties include: Processing supplier invoices and maintaining purchase ledger records Analysing costs, identifying savings, and liaising with suppliers Preparing journals, accruals, and prepayments Supporting month-end tasks including trial balance checks and P&L review Reconciling business expenses and maintaining accurate financial data Assisting with onboarding new suppliers and improving internal processes The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role Confident using Excel and working with financial data Xero experience is highly desirable Strong understanding of purchase ledger and double-entry bookkeeping Ability to work independently and as part of a small team AAT studying or willing to begin studies is preferred What’s on Offer: Salary up to £32,000 DOE 10% quarterly performance bonus Hybrid working with flexible hours Annual performance-related pay reviews Recognition schemes and employee incentives Why Apply?
