Our client, as part of their ongoing expansion, is looking for an engineer, based in the South West to work in a home based capacity, focusing on the installation, maintenance and servicing of their access control products on client sites. The successful candidate will have a broad engineering background covering electrical and mechanical elements primarily, and an understanding of the specifics of Automatic Gates/Barriers and Roller Shutters. They have a diverse product set, so provided you have a good understanding of some of their products, full training will be given on the others. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following: -
* Proven experience of Automatic Gate / Door / Barrier / Shutter / Turnstile / Bollard or wider Access Control engineering
* Great problem solving skills
* A Broad electrical / mechanical skillset
* Full driving licence
* CSCS / SSSTS ideal
* Good customer and time management skills
* ADSA / DHF Qualifications would be a benefit
Package includes on-call ( ), Overtime (plenty available) paid at 1.5x for evenings and 2x for nights. Travel time to jobs is paid. There is a 2.5k initial bonus based on your record keeping. Brand new van fully kitted out and private mileage included. Core hours are Monday - Friday but some out of hours availability would be useful.
