We are seeking a Family Support Practitioner, for a Local Authority Client based in East London.
In this role, you will collaborate with a team to deliver intensive support, conduct holistic family assessments, and promote positive child outcomes for families with complex needs.
About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
* Collaborate with a team of Family Practitioners to deliver interventions and support to families in need.
* Conduct holistic family assessments using evidence-based tools to identify adverse childhood experiences and factors impacting family functioning.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of interventions, assessments, and outcomes.
* Develop and implement intervention plans focused on increasing resilience, parenting capacity, and promoting positive child-parent attachment.
A bout you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
* Proven experience working with families facing complex needs and delivering evidence-based interventions.
* Knowledge of child development, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and trauma-informed care principles.
* Experience carrying a caseload.
* Experience carrying out holistic assessments.
What's on offer
Salary: £20+ per hour
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week
