Director - Energy Infrastructure (DCOs)

Location: Hybrid - Offices ideally in Cardiff, Birmingham, London or Manchester

Salary: £90,000 pa + Excellent Benefits Package

Are you an experienced leader in the infrastructure and energy sectors, with a strong track record in DCOs and major project delivery? Our client - a leading UK-based consultancy operating at the forefront of infrastructure, planning and environmental strategy - is seeking a Director to join their Infrastructure Projects and Programmes Division.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive high-profile energy projects and contribute to national infrastructure strategy, while also potentially stepping into Business Unit leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a portfolio of energy and infrastructure projects, with oversight of delivery, quality and growth.

*

Drive business development and cultivate long-term client relationships with an established network of industry leaders.

*

Shape sector strategies and contribute to company-wide planning and sustainability goals.

*

Inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams, supporting performance, development and technical excellence.

*

Manage revenue streams and report on business metrics within the Division.

*

Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, sustainability and internal policy frameworks.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

*

At least 15 years of relevant industry experience, including senior leadership roles.

*

A strong background in the energy sector - particularly DCOs, EIAs, and planning or consent processes.

*

Proven capability in team leadership, project delivery, and client development.

*

Chartered status (or working towards).

*

Broad understanding of the environmental and sustainability landscape, and insight into infrastructure challenges and opportunities.
