We're currently working with a local NHS Trust who are seeking a Band 5 Community Nurse to join their Primary Care Team in East Ham.
* Salary: £23p/h Umbrella *potentially negotiable depending on experience*
* Contract type: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension
* Hours: 8am - 8pm
* Location: East Ham
Key responsibilities:
* Leg ulcer- compression bandage.
* Pressure ulcer care- including pressure equipment assessment.
* Wound management- including removal of stitches and clips.
* Diabetes management- insulin injection and blood sugar monitoring.
* Medication administration- including IV antibiotics.
* Injections- intramuscular, subcutaneous.
* Male, female and supra-pubic catheterisation and catheter care.
* Palliative care- syringe driver.
About you:
* Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
* Experience working in a community setting
