Are you a Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role within a London GP Surgery? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and stability!
Job Details:
* Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist
* Location: London
* Duration: 6-month contract (potential to extend)
* Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
* Start Date: ASAP
* Rate of Pay: £30 - £35 per hour
What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist, supporting a GP surgery and making a direct impact on patient care and medicines optimisation. In this role, you will:
* Conduct medication reviews to improve patient treatment outcomes
* Provide prescribing support and guidance to GPs
* Manage repeat prescriptions, ensuring safety and accuracy
* Oversee medicines reconciliation for new and discharged patients
* Support long-term condition management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension)
* Answer prescription queries and collaborate with healthcare teams
* Work onsite to deliver high-quality pharmacy support
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Prior GP experience is essential
* Independent Prescribing qualification (preferable)
* Strong expertise in medicines optimisation and patient consultations
* Proficiency in GP pharmacy systems (EMIS & SystmOne)
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
