My client, an independent, creative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Civil Engineer to join their experienced team of drainage and highways engineers, based near the coastal city of Swansea, on the stunning Gower Peninsula.

Essential Criteria:

* A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent qualification

* Experience of carrying out Drainage Impact Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Flood Risk Assessments

* Experience of working with roads, highways, and infrastructure, including adoptions

* Previous experience of having worked within a consultancy role

* Good working knowledge of a range of software packages, including Civils 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, and others

* Full UK Driver's Licence

It would also benefit applicants for the role of Civil Engineer to possess the following:

* Attained Chartered Engineer status, or actively working toward attaining this

* Excellent time management skills

* Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team

* Familiarity with the local region

In your new role of Civil Engineer, you will join an expert team of design engineers, with a view to developing your career during your time with the company. The role will involve several diverse responsibilities, including:

* Work with Drainage Strategies, Drainage Impact Assessments, and Flood Risk Assessments

* Plan and design a range of roads, highways, and other infrastructure projects

* Organise the adoption of newly constructed infrastructure, ensuring it meets required standards and specifications

* Support senior engineering colleagues and managers with the delivery of various projects, within the agreed budgets and timescales

* Provide assistance to Senior Engineers in project preparation, including calculations, specifications, etc.

* Assist the Design Team with the development of accurate drawings and models

* Carry out site inspections and surveys

* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a range of projects
