My client, an independent, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Civil Engineer to join their experienced team of drainage and highways engineers, based in the beautiful town of Carmarthen, West Wales.

Essential Criteria:

* A Bachelor's or Master's Degree, or equivalent qualification, in Civil Engineering

* Experience of carrying out Drainage Impact Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Flood Risk Assessments

* Demonstrable experience of working with roads, highways, and infrastructure, including adoptions

* Experience of working within an engineering consultancy role

* Good working knowledge of a range of software packages, including AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D, etc.

* Full UK Driver's Licence

It would also benefit applicants for the role of Civil Engineer to possess the following:

* Attained Chartered Engineer status, or actively working toward this

* Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team

* Excellent time management skills

* Familiar with the local area

In the varied role of Civil Engineer, you will join a dedicated team of specialist design engineers, with a view to developing your career and progressing through the ranks. The role will involve a number of exciting responsibilities, including:

* Produce Drainage Impact Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Flood Risk Assessments

* Plan and design a range of roads and other infrastructure projects

* Work with the adoption of newly constructed infrastructure, ensuring it meets required standards and specifications

* Support Senior Engineers and management with the delivery of various projects, adhering to agreed budgets and timescales

* Provide assistance to Senior Engineers in project preparation, including calculations, specifications, etc.

* Assist the Design Team with the delivery of accurate drawings

* Carry out site inspections and surveys

* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects
