CAD Designer
My client is a highly reputable acoustics consultancy with over 50 years of experience in providing comprehensive noise and vibration solutions across various sectors. As a CAD Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of prestigious projects and use your skills to create detailed designs and plans. This role enables you to contribute to shaping environments and industries with innovative solutions, whilst being part of an organisation that is committed to excellence and innovation in the acoustic engineering industry.
Requirements
* 10+ years of construction industry experience, with a focus on HVAC, mechanical, or structural steelwork sectors.
* Demonstrated understanding of installation best practices.
* Strong multitasking and time management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Possesses excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, with a solid foundation in relevant software tools for design and project management.
Duties/Responsibilities
* Conduct site surveys across the UK and Europe, gathering precise measurements and specifications for accurate project planning.
* Attend both on-site and online design meetings, collaborating with team members to ensure alignment with client requirements.
* Generate general arrangement drawings outlining project layouts for clarity and consistency among stakeholders.
* Create detailed manufacturing and installation drawings to guide the smooth execution of the project.
* Coordinate design activities with stakeholders to ensure project success and adherence to specifications.
