Position: Business Studies Teacher (Key Stage 4)

A thriving secondary school in York is looking for a dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join their team this September and help equip students with the skills to succeed in the modern world. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated educator with a talent for bringing business concepts to life.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons for students in Years 9 to 11
* Teach key topics such as marketing, entrepreneurship, finance, and business operations
* Encourage critical thinking, financial awareness, and decision-making skills
* Support students in applying theoretical knowledge to real-world business scenarios
* Work closely with colleagues to promote careers and enterprise education across the curriculum
What We're Looking For:
* QTS/QTLS or equivalent, with specialism in Business Studies or a related subject
* Experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 level (KS3/KS5 experience is a plus)
* An engaging and flexible approach to teaching business content
* Strong classroom management and a commitment to student success
* A collaborative, proactive attitude and excellent communication skills
