Body Technician
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Overtime: Available at Higher Rates
Location: Avonmouth
Rota: Monday – Friday - DAYS
Are you an experienced technician with a knack for paint preparation and repairs? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join our team as a Paint Shop Plant Equipment Technician in Avonmouth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare panels for paint application
- Proficient in using 2k paint system
- Perform repairs using fillers
- Ability to mask up panels effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Report any incidents to line manager or health and safety representative
- Assist line manager and department as needed for timely task completion
- Communicate relevant information effectively
- Ensure adherence to procedures and complete tasks when unsupervised
- Strictly adhere to health and safety procedures, wearing provided PPE
- Perform any other tasks within capabilities
Work Experience Requirements/Person Specification:
- Desired experience in a similar role
- Ability to prioritize workload effectively
- Punctual and committed to completing assigned tasks, with flexibility as needed
