We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!
* Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Band 6 (Neurosciences)
* Location: North London
* Duration: 3-month initial contract (likely to extend)
* Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)
* Start Date: ASAP
* End Date: Ongoing
* Rate of Pay: £26-£33 per hour (dependent on experience)
What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Band 6 Neuro Occupational Therapist and play a key role in improving the lives of stroke and neurology patients in an acute inpatient setting. In this role, you will:
* Perform comprehensive neurological and functional assessments
* Create and implement tailored rehabilitation plans
* Deliver evidence-based treatments to maximise independence
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Physios, SLTs, and Consultants
* Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current and valid HCPC registration
* Proven experience working with stroke and neurological patients
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work independently and within an MDT
* A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a flexible, full-time locum position , with working hours Monday to Friday , though part-time availability will be considered. The contract is initially for 3 months with strong potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
