My client, a highly-respected, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for an Assistant Drainage Engineer to join their growing team of experts near the lively, diverse Northern city of Manchester.

Essential Criteria:

- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering

- Demonstrable experience of having worked with Drainage Strategies, Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), etc. in a design capacity

- Experience of drainage design and sewerage connections

- Excellent working knowledge of the appropriate applications of Section Agreements S104 and S106

- Working knowledge of MicroDrainage WinDES, TUFLOW, and other software packages

It would also benefit applicants for the role of Assistant Drainage Engineer to possess the following skills:

- Extensive use of other relevant software packages, such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, etc.

- Experience of liaising with a range of clients across the public and private sectors

- Excellent time management and communication skills

In the diverse role of Assistant Drainage Engineer, you will join an expert team of design engineers, with a view to developing and progressing within your career. The role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including:

- Preparing calculations and drawings for drainage systems, aligned to the relevant Section Agreements (namely S104, S106, etc.)

- Producing drainage designs to align with industry standards and specifications

- Liaising with a range of clients and other stakeholders, across the public and private sectors

- Contributing to a range of infrastructure design projects across the residential, commercial, and industrial spheres
