Art Teacher - Mainstream Secondary School
Salary: Competitive, based on experience Contract: Full-time, Term-time only Driving Required: Yes (due to location)
Academics is seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join a supportive mainstream secondary school in East Grinstead. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and help them explore their creativity through a dynamic and engaging art curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative art lessons across Key Stages
*
Encourage self-expression, critical thinking, and technical skill development
*
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
*
Prepare students for assessments and coursework
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
Experience teaching Art at secondary level
*
A genuine passion for the arts and education
*
Strong classroom management and communication skills
*
Full UK driving licence preferred (school may not be easily accessible by public transport)
