HGV Technician
Location: Tadcaster
Day shifts: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm
Friday 8am to 1pm
Salary: £39,000
Overtime paid at an enhanced rate

About your new company
My client is a fleet maintenance company with 38 depots looking for skilled HGV Technicians to join their ever growing team. You will be working predominately on a mobile basis and take part in on call arrangements. The fleet consists of 200 HGV's and you will be covering North Yorkshire and York.
About your new HGV Technician role
- You will carry out maintenance, repairs and modification work on the fleet of vehicles including HGV's and specialist equipment and provide technical support from fault analysis through to competition.
- You will provide technical work to the highest standards in line with strict health and safety requirements.
- You will also be required to undertake pre MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.
- You will be working predominately on a mobile basis and take part in on call arrangements (1 week in 4)
- General HGV Technician duties
The successful HGV Technician will require:
- You will have an in-depth knowledge of HGV's and commercial vehicles
- Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential)
- You will have industry recognised qualifications, NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 as an HGV Technician
- You must have detailed experience as an HGV Technician and be familiar with commercial vehicles.
